Since 2017, Ambrose Charity Foundation has stood beside the people society forgets first — widows, the elderly, orphans and vulnerable children.

Ambrose Charity Foundation began in 2017 in Jinja, where the River Nile starts its long journey north. A handful of friends noticed widows struggling alone, elders without food or company, and children left without parents. They decided they could not simply pray and walk away — they would pray and serve.
What started with home visits and shared meals has grown into a family of volunteers, partners and supporters serving communities across Eastern Uganda — always with the same belief: every person carries God-given dignity, and every act of love matters.
To show the love of Christ in practical ways — restoring dignity, hope and self-reliance to widows, elders, orphans and vulnerable children.
A Busoga and a Uganda where no widow is abandoned, no elder is forgotten and no child is denied a future.
Every gift is handled with honesty, reported openly, and delivered by people who live in the communities we serve.
School fees, meals, protection and mentorship.
Skills, start-up capital and a community that stands with them.
